Semco established in 1973, began its business focusing on international trade and product design. During the first 10 years, Semco designed and manufactured car security, car/home stereo and radar detection for its OEM partners. During the second 10 years, Semco expanded the product line to include communication and cellular phone accessories, because of the advancement in security technology, Semco has gained knowledge working with RF technology and programmable microprocessor. Combing these knowlegde with manufacturing know-how, Semco was able to transition smoothly into the computer industry in the early 90s.
